Printing
There are two ways to get things printed at St Mary’s. Which one you use depends on what you’re trying to achieve.
Internal printing and copying
We can do most day-to-day printing and copying in-house – including letters, posters up to A3, and booklets up to around 40 pages in size – on the MFP in the Parish Office.
If you need any printer training, please contact the Technology Team for help.
For drivers and configuration details, see the page in the Technology section.
Remember to record any printing or copying in the logbook – you should make a note of the date, what you’re printing, your initials, and the page counters for both colour and black and white printing.
Getting to the page counters
You can find the page counters in the Settings
section of the printer.
External printing
For all large-format, specialist or bulk printing we use a third-party printer. All requests should go via the Communications Team so that that can be checked for style, proof-read and properly formatted before being sent to print.
Although most printing can be turned around in a few days if absolutely necessary, it is strongly recommended that you allow at least a two-week lead time for external printing. This gives the Communications Team time to proof the material, make any necessary changes, order the print job and allow for delivery.
