Onboarding is the process of making sure somebody new to the team at St Mary’s has everything they need to efficiently and safely perform their role.

This handbook

Make sure that the new person has been told about the existence of this handbook at handbook.whitkirkchurch.org.uk.

Safeguarding

The Safeguarding Officer must make sure all appropriate training has been completed, and apply for DBS checks where necessary.

Technology

The Head of Technology must make sure the person is correctly onboarded into Google Workspace and ChurchSuite. If the person is a Digital Keyholder, the onboarding process for this must also be followed.

Churchwardens

The Churchwardens must make sure the person has any physical keys which are required for their role.
