Post-APCM tasks
After the APCM, the Church’s PCC will have changed and various user groups will need adjusting. Here’s what needs to happen.
Things you’ll need
You’ll need a copy of the PCC members list, PCC contact details, and the minutes of the post-APCM PCC meeting. If you don’t have any of these then the PCC’s secretary should be able to help.
ChurchSuite
- Head to the PCC tag and remove everybody from it.
- Head to the Deanery Synod Representative and remove everybody from it.
- Go through each member of the PCC in ChurchSuite and make sure:
- Their contact details are correct.
- They have the PCC tag.
- If they are on the Deanery Synod, they have the Deanery Synod Representative tag.
- Cross-check the total number of people in each tag to make sure you haven’t missed anyone.
Google Workspace
User accounts
Provision user accounts for all people who are in named roles. You should use the format [email protected].
Google Groups
Google Groups are used to assign permissions to people, so it’s important they’re accurate.
- Update the PCC Members Google Group to match the current PCC membership.
- Where a person has an @whitkirkchurch.org.uk email address, prefer using this.
