Reporting an accident or injury

In the event of an accident or injury on Church property or whilst on a Church event you must make a record of the incident, how it happened, who was affected and any action taken.

Accident books and first aid kits are located:

Church: In the vestry
Community Centre: In the kitchen

If the incident was because of a problem with any part of the Church facilities (including things being broken or inherently unsafe) you should report it to the Health and Safety team.

Reporting a near miss

You should always report near misses so any necessary actions can be taken to avoid something more serious.

Report near misses to the Health and Safety team.
