If you are regularly placing or receiving phone calls on behalf of the Church you should be using the Church’s centralised telephony system. This means we can more easily keep control of billing, avoids problems with sharing personal numbers, and means that if you leave the St Mary’s team for any reason we can continue to get people who call to the right place.

If you think you need access to the telephony system, a voicemail box or any call forwarding please get in touch with the Technology Team to chat about your requirements and options.

Mobile phones

We do not routinely provide mobile phones for Church use. You can, however, use the BT Cloud Work App (download for iOS, download for Android) to receive and place phone calls using your own handset as long as you have a data connection.

You can also set up call forwarding which will send calls to your mobile number if you are ever out of service.

Desk phones

If you need a physical desk phone, please get in touch with the Technology Team who will be able to discuss your requirements and options.

All desk phones need an existing internet connection to be available.
