Every year, the Diocese asks us to send various parish returns as part of its statistics gathering.

Church at Home

For consistency, we use the methodology published by the Church of England in 2024 to calculate Church at Home attendance for our YouTube streams.

How to calculate the relevant numbers

1. Head to the channel analytics.
2. Go to Advanced Mode.
3. Narrow down the time period to the relevant window.
4. Add up the watch time and duration of the relevant streams in that window. This is usually only the main Sunday services.
5. Divide one by the other, and round to the nearest number. This is the number of attendees for reporting purposes.
