Being streamed

If you are a member of our team who regularly appears on camera, you should complete a streaming model release form so that we have a record of your permission to use your image in this way:

Streaming model release form

The form is quick and easy to complete online, but if you prefer to complete a paper form please let a member of the Streaming Team know.

Who is this for?

This is for anyone who is likely to be the focus of the camera during one of our streamed services. This includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Those presiding at a service
  • The deacon and MC
  • Servers in any capacity
  • Readers
  • Intercessors
  • People bringing offerings
  • People taking part in occasional ceremonies such as candle lighting
  • Choir members

Why is this necessary?

Your image and religious orientation are considered personal information under UK data protection law. We need to make sure we have your permission to share these when we livestream or record our services.

Do I need to give permission?

No. You are not obliged to give us permission to use your image in this way, and even if you do you are always free to withdraw consent later. However, once a service has streamed it may be difficult or impossible to remove your image entirely.

If you do not give us permission to stream your image it may affect which roles you are able to fulfil in some services, although we will always do our best to minimise any impact.
