Media player
Switching the player on
The power switch is on the left hand side. Push it all the way in, and the display will light up. The player will take a few seconds to finish starting up.

You can tell when the player is ready because it will say “USB” and “No USB” on the display.
Selecting the source
Sometimes the player might have been left with another source selected, and it might say something like “CD” or “BLUETOOTH” in the upper left of the screen. If this is the case, repeatedly press the “Source” button to the right of the display.

Inserting a USB memory stick
Gently push the memory stick into the USB port towards the right-hand side of the player.

Once the stick is inserted the player will read the contents for a few seconds, then show the ‘stop’ screen with some details of the inserted stick.

By default the player is in ‘single track’ mode, which means it will play the track you have selected and then stop. You can check that the player is in this mode by looking for the “1” next to the “USB” in the top left corner.
Selecting a track
The easiest way to select the track you want is to use the “Multi Jog” wheel to the right of the display. Turn it clockwise or anticlockwise to change the track.

By default the player is in ‘single track’ mode, which means it will play the track you have selected and then stop. You can check that the player is in this mode by looking for the “1” next to the “USB” in the top left corner.
The player will display the selected track name. You can ignore the numbers on the bottom row.
Playing a track
To start playing the selected track, press the “Play” button.

Stopping a track
If you need to stop playback at any time, press the “Stop” button.
Adjusting the volume
There is no volume control on the CD player itself. Most of the time you shouldn’t need to change the volume, but some CDs (especially ones which are homemade) may need adjustment.
If you need to adjust the volume for any reason, you should use the blue fader labelled “CD” on the audio mixer.
To increase the volume, push the fader up. To reduce it, pull the fader down. Bringing the fader all the way to the bottom will turn the volume to zero. The “0” mark on the fader scale is ‘normal’ volume.

You should not need to change any other settings on the mixer.
When you’re done
When you’re finished you can switch the player off by pressing the power switch again. The display should turn off.
You do not need to eject a memory stick; they can be removed at any time.
