Technology
Technology is looked after by the Technology Team, who fall under the remit of Buildings, Facilities and Finance within the PCC.
At St Mary’s we use technology in lots of ways; it helps us communicate, organise information, supports our worship, and supports other parts of the Church and Community Centre.
Structure of the Technology Team
The Technology Team operates in the following broad areas:
Infrastructure
Providing networking (including internet and wifi) in the Church’s buildings.
Web
The underlying technology (but not the content) for the Church’s digital presence.
Streaming
Live-streaming of regular and festival services
Stage
Lighting (excluding building lights) and sound reinforcement within the Church and Community Centre.
