| Burns | Activities shall only be conducted by competent individuals who have been suitably trained in the use of the equipment. All people involved shall be aware of location of nearest first aid kit. |
| Fire | Wherever possible, activity to take place on heat-proof mat. Area to be kept clear of flammables. Equipment to to be placed on a suitable stand when not in use. Equipment to be left to fully cool before storage. |
| Fume inhalation | Activities shall only be performed in suitably ventilated spaces, and exposure to fumes kept to a minimum. |
| Electrical shock | Visual inspection of equipment prior to use. Equipment to follow usual PAT Testing requirements. |
| Cuts | Use of PPE where appropriate. All people involved shall be aware of location of nearest first aid kit. |
